How tools are selected
We cover a tool when it is a genuine option for the reader's decision — usually because it is one of the products creators are actively comparing in that category. Having an affiliate programme is not a reason to add a tool, and not having one is not a reason to leave it out.
How recommendations are made
Recommendations are always conditional. Rather than naming one winner, every commercial page states who each tool suits and who should choose something else. Where we do name a top pick, it is a top pick for a stated type of reader, with the reasoning shown.
The evaluation criteria behind those judgements are set out in our review methodology.
How affiliate relationships work
CreatorStrata has no active affiliate partnerships today — every outbound link goes to the vendor's own site and earns us nothing. We expect that to change as the site develops. Three rules will constrain it when it does:
- Commission rates never affect rankings, ordering or wording. We do not know the payout when we write the assessment, and we do not revisit an assessment because a payout changed.
- We link to tools with no affiliate programme on equal terms. If the right recommendation earns us nothing, it is still the recommendation.
- Affiliate links are disclosed before you reach them, not only in the footer. Pages containing them carry a disclosure near the top, and every affiliate link is marked
rel="sponsored nofollow".

How pricing is verified
Prices come from the vendor's official pricing page, read directly, with the month of the check printed beside the figure. Pricing lives in structured tool data rather than in article text, so a single update corrects every page that shows it. Prices change without notice, so we tell readers to confirm on the vendor's site before paying.
How content is updated
Commercial pages are reviewed on a recurring schedule and whenever we learn a vendor has changed pricing, plan structure or a materially important feature. Each article shows the date it was last updated. Updating means re-verifying claims, not changing the date.
How AI is used
We use AI tools in drafting and production. Nothing is published without a human verifying every factual claim against an official source, and nothing is published unchecked at volume. AI does not decide which tool we recommend.
How corrections are handled
If something here is wrong, we want to fix it. Email hello@creatorstrata.com with the page and the problem. Factual errors are corrected as soon as we can verify the correct information, and material corrections are noted on the page rather than quietly overwritten.
